A 26-year-old Milton man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a loaded dump truck overnight on Friday.

Florida Highway Patrol say the crash happened on Highway 87 and Manning Road at 3 a.m.

A loaded dump truck was crossing the northbound lanes of State Road 87. The 26-year-old failed to stop in time as the dump truck crossed in front of him.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The truck driver had no injuries.

The crash caused temporary blockage to the inside lane of northbound State Road 87.
