A 30-year-old man was killed after running off the road and crashing his vehicle into a pole along State Road 429 on Monday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the single-vehicle crash happened on S.R. 429 at mile marker 29 near Ocoee Apopka Road around 2:15 p.m.
According to a crash report, a Nissan Sentra was traveling north on S.R. 429, approaching mile marker 29, when it ran off the roadway right onto the outside shoulder.

The incident marks the second deadly crash on S.R. 429 after a 35-year-old Orlando man was killed and his passenger was seriously injured Monday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash, also in Orange County.
