First responders rushed to a Mattress Firm store in Margate after a driver slammed her car into the building Thursday afternoon.
It happened at the chain’s location at 5620 W. Sample Road, off State Road 7.
A Margate Police Department spokesperson said there were no reports of any injuries.
The spokesperson additionally said that “preliminary information indicates that an elderly driver accidentally accelerated her vehicle into the building.”
Video from Sky 10 shows damage to both the store’s entrance and to the corner of the store, where the woman’s vehicle was seen facing outward.
The video also shows multiple mattresses damaged within the store.
It wasn’t immediately clear whether police would cite the driver.
