A pilot from Ocala did a hard landing in a lake without a scratch this afternoon.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the 69-year-old landed in Redwater Lake, between Interlachen and Hawthorne.
They say he landed hard on the lake, making his plane skip and eventually sink.
The pilot was able to walk away with no injuries.
