Motorcycle, SUV crash shuts down road in Hallandale Beach

A crash shut down roads in Hallandale Beach early Friday, police said.

Police said eastbound Hallandale Beach Boulevard at Northwest 4th Avenue was closed for the investigation. Information about possible victims was not immediately provided.

The crash appeared to involve an SUV and a motorcycle, according to video of the scene.

Aerial footage showed the SUV with a smashed hood and bumper partly detached. A red motorcycle lay in front of the vehicle behind police tape.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
