3 killed in head-on collision on I-65 in Baldwin County

Three people were killed in a head-on crash on I-65 in Baldwin County just two days before Christmas.

The crash occurred Tuesday around 7:45 p.m. on I-65 near mile marker 39. It claimed the lives of:

  • 84-year-old Simon Hadley of Bay Minette
  • 21-year-old Amaya Williams of Albany, Georgia
  • 49-year-old Keithrick Williams of Auburn

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Hadley was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when he collided head-on with Amaya Williams’ 2026 Kia Niro.

Amaya Williams and her passenger Keithrick Williams pronounced dead at the scene.

Hadley was transported to North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette where he died from his injuries.

No further details were released.
