Ocala Police Department officers are investigating after a shooting left a man dead early on Christmas Day.
According to police department officials, officers responded to a report of gunshots near the 800 block of West Silver Springs Place just after 4 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Ja’Narre Suggs, 21, dead. Officers are actively investigating the homicide.
