A 30-year-old man from Old Town is dead after being hit by a car while crossing the street.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say an SUV was traveling south on County Road 349 near Northeast 250th Avenue Wednesday evening just after 6:30 when a driver hit the 30-year-old man walking in the roadway.
They say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
