6:45 p.m. UPDATE: All lanes have reopened.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) tells Fox 4 that there were injuries and occupants in the three vehicles were transported to area hospitals. No word on their status at this time.
6:20 p.m. UPDATE: A right lane has reopened. Two left lanes remain closed.
A backup stretches about five miles south to Pine Ridge Road. If you are traveling northbound on I-75 in Collier County, you are advised to find an alternate route.
5:50 p.m. ORIGINAL REPORT: Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a three-vehicle crash on I-75.
Per Florida Department of Transportation cameras, the crash appears to have occurred on the Immokalee Road overpass. All traffic was diverted at exit 111, Immokalee Road. Cars, however, were seen re-entering I-75 at the on-ramp from Immokalee Road.
On a Florida Department of Transportation camera, a LifeFlight helicopter landed on the highway.
