Traffic was diverted in southeast Ocala on Tuesday after officers say a vehicle hit a pedestrian.
Ocala Police Department officers report that the crash occurred just after noon on the 900 block of Southeast 17th Street.
Eastbound traffic on 17th Street was diverted at Lake Weir Avenue. Drivers were asked to take alternate routes.
