A brawl that caused chaos outside two lower-level doors at Miami International Airport was caught on video and shared on social media, and the incident left one person injured, according to authorities.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, on Monday at approximately 9:16 p.m., airport district officers responded to a fight near doors 16-17 on the lower level.
MDSO reported that the preliminary investigation revealed that upon arrival, officers made contact with an adult male who reported being involved in a physical altercation with an unknown person.
The other individual fled the scene in an unknown direction, and the alleged victim refused medical treatment from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, authorities said.
The type of injury sustained by this person was not disclosed.
Only in Dade shared a video on its Instagram account showing the altercation and the chaos it caused outside the airport doors.
There were no reports that this incident affected operations at MIA.
No arrests were made, and officials did not state they were searching for any suspects.
