Two teens were killed, and a 12-year-old was seriously injured in a car crash in Hobe Sound Friday night.
According to deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Bridge Road and I-95.
Deputies say a 16-year-old boy, who was a student at Martin County High School, and a 15-year-old girl from Jupiter both succumbed to their injuries from the crash.
In addition to the teens, MCSO says a 12-year-old passenger was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the second vehicle also sustained minor injuries.
Authorities have alerted family members of the victims; however, their identities are being withheld at this time.
