Tampa woman dead, 2 men injured in Glades County crash

A 31-year-old Tampa woman is dead after a head-on collision in Glades County.

Florida Highway Patrol reports that the woman, who was driving Monday night on County Road 74, was going westbound before entering the eastbound lanes where she collided head-on with an SUV driven by a 37-year-old Loxahatchee man.

FHP said the woman died at the scene due to her injuries. 

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A 19-year-old man, who was the passenger of the vehicle, also received minor injuries and was treated on scene. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
