An 8-year-old boy was seriously injured Wednesday evening after the dirt bike he was riding crashed into a car in Altamonte Springs, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 6:05 p.m. at the intersection of S Ronald Reagan Blvd and Florence Avenue in Seminole County, according to a preliminary report.
The 8-year-old was riding a 2023 Yamaha dirt bike traveling southbound on S Ronald Reagan Blvd in the outside lane when he lost control and entered the path of a 2004 Toyota Avalon traveling in the inside lane, according to FHP.
