Two women were injured in a crash at a busy intersection in The Villages.
A 75-year-old Lady Lake woman was driving a Toyota Tacoma at 7:23 a.m. Tuesday southbound on Morse Boulevard when she failed to stop at a flashing red light, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
She proceeded into the intersection of Morse Boulevard and County Road 466 where she collided with a Ford Fusion driven by a 33-year-old Wildwood woman who had been traveling eastbound on County Road 466.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals.
