A therapist in Orange County, Florida, was fatally stabbed during a session when a former patient interrupted and attacked both the therapist and her client, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The therapist was taken to the hospital, where she later died. The client was also sent to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Deputies said a former patient walked into the therapist’s office Monday night and was asked to leave. When they refused, the client in the session tried to call 911, leading to the suspect pulling out a knife and attacking them.
Deputies evacuated parts of the office building as they searched for the suspect. They later found them dead from an apparent suicide.
