A man who was found badly beaten a day after Christmas in Orlando has died, his family confirmed.
The victim, Bernard “BJ” Jackson, was discovered around 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 26 in the 1000 block of West Anderson Street, according to the Orlando Police Department.
Investigators said Jackson had been severely beaten and was taken for medical treatment.
Family members said Jackson was last seen around 3:30 a.m. that morning.
Jackson’s family said he suffered serious injuries, including trauma to his brain.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to any possible suspects.
