Electric vehicle fire causes temporary shutdown of SR 417 southbound in Sanford

An electric vehicle fire caused the shutdown of State Road 417 southbound on the Lake Jesup bridge Sunday afternoon, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.

The fire occurred around 3:41 p.m

No one was injured in the vehicle fire, SCFD said.

The road has since reopened.
