Sarasota police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle that sent one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred at the intersection of 12th Street and Washington Boulevard.
Police blocked Washington Blvd (U.S. 301) southbound from 17th to 12th Street during the investigation. The road is now open as officers have cleared the scene.
