Three pets are confirmed dead after a fire at a home on Lincoln Avenue in Lehigh Acres.

According to the Lehigh Acres Fire District, crews responded to the scene shortly before 11 p.m. on Monday night.

LAFD confirmed that active crews were on the scene, and by 1 a.m., the fire was out.

LAFD said that three pets were found dead inside the home, and that the house is considered a total loss. No other injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross will be assisting the displaced family, according to LAFD. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
