A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday night in Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale police said.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. to the 3200 block of North Ocean Boulevard following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.
When they arrived, officers provided medical aid to a man who had been riding the motorcycle and was critically injured.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue transported the man to Broward Health Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries, authorities said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Traffic homicide investigators responded, and the crash remains under investigation.
