A two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near the Laurel Manor Recreation Center sent both drivers to the hospital.
The driver of Nissan Rogue SUV shortly before 2 p.m. crossed Buena Vista Boulevard at Parr Drive going to Laurel Manor Drive, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The driver pulled in front of a Chevy pickup which was traveling north on Buena Vista Boulevard, leading to a collision.
Both drivers were transported for non-life threatening injuries to a local hospital
The driver of the Nissan was cited for failure to yield.
