A burglary led to a chase that ended in a crash involving multiple vehicles Thursday in West Little River, police said.

It began around 2:15 p.m. when Miami-Dade deputies attempted to stop a vehicle involved in a burglary incident in the area of Northwest 98th Street and 22nd Avenue, officials said.

The vehicle fled and crashed near Northwest 95th Street and 27th Avenue. Footage from Chopper 6 showed at least two wrecked vehicles at the scene, including one resting on its side on the median and another crashed into a fence.

Three people were taken into custody, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s officials said, and everyone involved was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A rifle and a handgun were also recovered from a vehicle.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said crews extricated two people from the wreck, and four adults were transported to the trauma center.

No deputies were injured.
