Four juveniles were injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon near downtown Orlando, police said.
Orlando police officers were called just before 1 p.m. to the 400 block of South Parramore Avenue for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found four juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators said three of the juveniles had injuries that were not life-threatening. One juvenile suffered a life-threatening injury, according to police. All four shooting victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police said a preliminary investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from a dispute involving other juveniles, and detectives are working to determine what led to the gunfire.
As of Monday, police have not named any suspects, and no arrests have been made.
The shooting remains under active investigation, and no additional information has been released.
On Monday, City Commissioner Shan Rose released a statement.
“I am deeply saddened by the shooting that occurred on February 15, 2026, in the 400 block of South Parramore Avenue. My heart goes out to the four young people who were injured, and I am praying especially for the juvenile who sustained life-threatening injuries. I also extend my thoughts to their families during this incredibly difficult time.
According to the Orlando Police Department, officers responded shortly before 1:00 p.m. and transported all four victims to a nearby hospital. While preliminary information indicates this incident stemmed from a dispute involving other juveniles, this remains an active and ongoing investigation. I am grateful to our officers, first responders, and medical teams for their swift action and continued efforts.
Violence involving our youth is heartbreaking and unacceptable. As a community, we must continue working together—parents, educators, faith leaders, and community partners—to create safe spaces, provide mentorship, and ensure our young people have positive outlets and support systems.
I remain in close communication with city leadership and law enforcement, and I am committed to supporting efforts that promote safety, accountability, and healing within our community. We ask residents to allow investigators the time and space needed to complete their work and to continue keeping these families in your prayers.”Office of District 5 Commissioner Shan Rose
