A golf cart and a landscaping vehicle collided at a gate in The Villages.
The accident occurred at about 8 a.m. Wednesday at the entrance to the Village of Polo Ridge off Buena Vista Boulevard, across from the Polo Fields and the Saddlebrook Recreation Complex.
The golf cart was crossing on the multi-modal path across Southern Trace at the Polo Ridge gate when it collided with the truck which had exited through the gate on Southern Trace and was pulling out onto Buena Vista Boulevard, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
There were no injuries. It was not immediately clear who was at fault in the accident.
