According to FL511, the crash happened at 5:04 p.m. just before mile marker 90 in Lake Worth Beach.
Traffic cameras show the crash has led to a five-mile backup, with slow-moving vehicles beginning around Mile Marker 95.
Footage from the scene shows an SUV turned sideways, appearing to have struck a semi-truck and a concrete traffic barrier.
