Crews battle Cape Coral house fire Monday morning


Firefighters are battling a house fire in Cape Coral on Monday morning.

According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, crews were dispatched to a fire along Northwest 21st Terrace at around 6:13 a.m.

According to a Gulf Coast News reporter on the scene, the roof of the house is caved in, and the back side of the home is charred.

Smoke can be seen coming from the roof, and firefighters can be seen inside and outside the home, extinguishing the fire.

CCFD said that four people and one dog were in the home at the time of the fire. All occupants are reportedly safe.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
