A Tallahassee man has died in a vehicle crash following a law enforcement pursuit in Miramar Beach on Sunday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan with four occupants, a 26-year-old man from Tallahassee, a 27-year-old man from Quincy, a 36-year-old woman from Tallahassee and a 26-year-old woman from Midway, was traveling east on U.S. Highway 98 at high speeds.
Troopers reported that the sedan ran a red light, collided with an SUV and then struck a pickup truck.
Troopers said before the crash, the occupants of the sedan were suspects in a recent theft and were trying to flee from law enforcement.
The Tallahassee man was pronounced deceased on scene. It is unknown at this time whether anyone else involved in the crash has sustained injuries.
