Crews were working to restore power Saturday morning after a bus crash damaged power poles in Brooksville.

According to Hernando County Fire Rescue, crews responded to a single vehicle crash on Howell Avenue near Highland Street just after 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Several power poles were damaged in the crash, causing power outages in the area, HCFR said. Duke Energy was on the scene repairing the poles and working to restore power.

Firefighters said the driver was the only person on the bus and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the bus crash was not shared.
