Lauderhill police are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital Wednesday night.
According to police, the shooting was reported at about 7 p.m. at the plaza at 1190 N. State Road 7.
Officers arrived at the scene to find a man who had been shot.
Shortly afterward, the Broward Sheriff’s Office was called to an apartment complex about five minutes away in the area of 2600 NW Eighth Place regarding another man who had been shot.
Police said that victim had been shot in the same location as the first.
Investigators spent hours moving between both scenes, combing for clues.
But there are still a lot of questions, like who pulled the trigger and what led up to that gunfire.
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their conditions have not yet been released.
A teen who spoke with Local 10 says he saw the moment law enforcement rushed in.
“All I see — police rushing,” Breyon Young said. “And then I go in the house, and it’s an ambulance and stuff, taking somebody to the hospital. And then I got scared, so I had ran.”
No arrests have been announced at this time.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
