WNBA star AO was arrested after she allegedly punched a man inside Miami’s E11even nightclub, an arrest report said.
Ogunbowale, 29, was arrested Thursday on a battery charge for the alleged incident that happened at the club on Northeast 11th Street, the report said.
According to the report, the victim said he was trying to escort O out of the establishment due to an altercation when she punched him in the face with a closed fist, causing him to fall to the ground.
O was taken into custody, and surveillance footage confirmed the victim’s version of events, the report said.
O was a first-round draft pick by the Dallas Wings and is a four time WNBA All-Star.
Originally from Milwaukee, O went to Notre Dame, where she helped lead the Fighting Irish to a NCAA Championship in 2018.
She also plays in the new Unrivaled 3-on-3 women’s basketball league based in Miami.
