Bonifay woman dies in single-vehicle crash

A Bonifay woman died Sunday morning following a single-vehicle traffic crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, shortly before 7 a.m., the 40-year-old woman was traveling south on County Road 177A near Flowing Well Road.

Troopers reported that for an unknown reason, she drove off the side of the road, resulting in her truck overturning and striking a tree.

FHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
