Two people are dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and a truck hauling a boat Friday night.
Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 27 and County Road 53.
A Chevy pickup truck with a boat attached to the back, heading northbound, stopped at a stop sign on County Road 53 around 8:30 p.m.
At the same time, a motorcycle carrying two people was traveling eastbound on Highway 27.
The motorcycle crashed into the boat being towed by the truck.
Both passengers on the motorcycle were pronounced dead on the scene.
FHP is currently investigating the crash.
