The incident was first reported at 7:08 a.m., according to Florida 511, with a last update at 7:20 a.m. The Florida 511 traffic service classified the crash as having an intermediate severity level, meaning drivers encountered noticeable slowdowns, but the roadway remained partially passable.
The left-lane blockage contributed to a growing backup through the Jupiter area as morning traffic increased. Drivers heading southbound were advised to use caution approaching the scene and consider alternate routes while crews worked to manage the situation.
