ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist suffered a broken leg Friday morning after colliding with a minivan on Palm Valley Road, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
The rider was taken to Memorial Hospital with injuries that were not critical. The driver of the minivan was treated for an arm injury at the scene.
The crash, which snarled traffic Friday morning, was reported just after 9 a.m. on Palm Valley Road, shortly after it changes from Nocatee Parkway.
Witnesses said the motorcyclist was lane splitting before the crash, but investigators are still determining who was at fault.
