A crash on I-75 in Florida resulted in the deaths of two children and one adult, with the investigation ongoing.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on I-75 South that resulted in the deaths of three people, including two children.
Troopers reported that the driver of a Jeep was speeding before swerving onto the grass median and crashing into a Hyundai, causing it to split into two pieces.
The crash claimed the lives of the Hyundai’s 25-year-old driver and a 5-year-old passenger at the scene. A 6-year-old child later died at the hospital.
Jim Toto, who works with one of the grieving family members, shared, “She said the pain is immeasurable.”
“I can’t wrap my head around it. You know, it’s a 5 and a 6-year-old,” Toto said.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
