A stretch of South Dixie Highway is closed in both directions following an injury crash in West Palm Beach that sent two vehicles into a local business.
West Palm Beach police responded to the crash along the 4900 block of S. Dixie Highway around 11:05 a.m. Investigators determined that one vehicle was traveling the wrong way in oncoming traffic before colliding with a second vehicle, forcing both cars into Precision Esthetics Dental Laboratory.
Officers have blocked South Dixie Highway between Puritan Road and East Lakewood Road while crews work to investigate and clear the scene.
Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes and expect delays.
