The northbound lanes of Interstate 75 are shut down in central Florida after a semi truck overturned in the roadway.
The crash happened at around 5 a.m. near mile-marker 335 at the Sumter-Marion County line, which is near The Villages.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver, identified as a 29-year-old man from Jacksonville, was hauling a load of pallets when he fell asleep and lost control of the truck. The driver suffered minor injuries, but did not go to the hospital.
The northbound lanes are closed beginning at the Florida Turnpike exit in Wildwood.
