Punta Gorda police are conducting an active investigation at the Good Shepherd Day School after a car drove into the playground area.
According to the Punta Gorda Police Department, a car drove into the playground area, which is surrounded by a gate. No one was on the playground at the time.
The Day School is at the Church of the Good Shepherd on West Henry Street.
Police said they are currently trying to locate the driver.
