A crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Miami-Dade is causing heavy delays on Thursday morning, according to the Florida Department of Transportation’s traffic website.
Officials first reported the multi-vehicle crash at 6:55 a.m. They said it happened in the southbound lanes and is causing backup from before Mile Marker 41 to before Mile Marker 36.
Officials said three left lanes were blocked.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured or what may have caused the collision.
