Tallahassee woman killed in Baker County crash on I-10, FHP says

A Tallahassee woman died early Sunday after losing control of her vehicle on Interstate 10 in Baker County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:08 a.m. near mile marker 338, east of County Road 228.

FHP says the woman was driving eastbound in the outside lane when she lost control of her sedan, which ran off the roadway to the right and struck multiple trees before coming to rest on its side.

Two passengers were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

All three people were taken to a local hospital, where the driver was later pronounced dead. The two passengers sustained minor injuries, according to FHP.

The crash remains under investigation by FHP.
