LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. —
Two people were injured in a shooting in the 4500 block of 21st Street Southwest in Lehigh Acres Wednesday night.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting on 21st Street Southwest at around 10:30 p.m.
At the scene, deputies found two victims who had sustained gunshot wounds during the incident. The victims are receiving treatment at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, LCSO said.
The scene remains active as the Violent Crimes Unit investigates. LCSO told Gulf Coast News it will provide further updates when they are available.
