Two people were injured in a shooting at an Escambia County apartment complex on Thursday evening.
Deputies responded to Forest Creek Apartments in the Warrington area around 6:15 p.m. to a shots fired disturbance. A large fight reportedly happened before the shooting took place.
The sheriff’s office says a man was shot in the leg, while a woman was shot in the hip area. Their injuries are non-life-threatening. Both victims are receiving medical treatment.
According to a witness, she heard five gunshots ring out in the area. A suspect has not been been found yet.
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
