Woman airlifted after being attacked by dog in Hialeah, multiple dogs seized from home

A woman was airlifted to the hospital after being attacked by a dog in Hialeah.

Hialeah Police, Fire Rescue responded to a home off West 70th Place and 12th Avenue Thursday night.

Upon their arrival, they found the injured woman in her 50s.

She was promptly airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center after being bit several times by a dog. The extent of her injuries remains unclear.

7News cameras captured detectives entering and leaving a home eventually removing around seven to eight dogs and placing them in the care of animal services.

Cameras also captured police detaining a man but his involvement in this incident remains unclear.
