A stretch of Orange Avenue is shut down in Fort Pierce after police say a vehicle struck a bicyclist.
Officers with the Fort Pierce Police Department say the crash happened around noon and shut down Orange Ave. between 23rd and 25th street.
The nature of the accident and the number and condition of the victims have not been released at this time.
Police urge the public to avoid the area and expect delays.
