A vehicle fire disrupted traffic on I-95 North in Palm Beach County on Tuesday afternoon, forcing the closure of an exit ramp and blocking a travel lane, according to Florida 511.

The incident was reported shortly after 3 p.m. near Exit 79A at State Road 786/PGA Boulevard East in Palm Beach Gardens. Authorities closed the off-ramp while emergency crews responded, and the right northbound lane of I-95 was blocked as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, according to Florida 511.

Florida 511 classified the incident as having an intermediate severity. The closure was first reported at 3:07 p.m., with the most recent update issued at 3:11 p.m. There was no immediate information available on injuries or the cause of the fire.

Motorists traveling through the area were advised to expect delays and consider alternate routes while crews remained on scene, according to Florida 511. Traffic conditions were continuing to develop as of mid-afternoon.
