One adult and a child were taken to the hospital after their vehicle crashed into a pole in Royal Palm Beach.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, at about 6 p.m., units were dispatched to the intersection of Belvedere Road and State Road 7. Firefighters arrived on scene in approximately three minutes and found a vehicle on its side against a power pole.
The adult and child were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated using hydraulic tools.
The adult met trauma alert criteria and was transported to the hospital by ground. The child was also taken to the hospital, according to PBCFR.
The crash is being investigated by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
