Two men and a woman were found fatally stabbed early Thursday morning in a neighborhood in the Normandy Estates area of Jacksonville’s Westside, police said.
Lt. S with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit said officers responded just before 4 a.m. to Exodus Way after reports that someone had been stabbed.
S said the officers found a man suffering from a potential stab wound, and paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he died.
S said officers kept looking around the area and found another man and a woman at a nearby home, both dead from potential stab wounds.
S said the three adults are related, and it appears a fight might have happened in the home, and then one of the men tried to get to a neighbor’s home for help.
That’s when police were called, he said.
S said one of them was in his late 40s, the other was in his 30s and the woman was in her 20s. He did not indicate how the three were related.
A neighbor who asked not to be identified told News4JAX reporter B the deadly incident has him on edge.
“It’s sad because my wife comes in and out. I don’t drive anymore, but I’m to the point now — I just told her this morning when she leaves here and then she’s coming back that night, I want to know what time she’s coming in where I can be standing at the door with my gun,” he said. “I want to protect her. I don’t want nobody to hurt her.”
