Minor injuries were reported after a pickup truck crashed into a home in Sarasota.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle colliding with a home at the 4800 block of Country Club Way around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to Troopers, a 2009 Ford F-150 was traveling east on Tournament Boulevard, approaching a stop sign at the intersection of Country Club Way, when it continued past the stop sign, traveled off the roadway, and collided with a home.
The homeowner, a 62-year-old man from Sarasota, was inside at the time of the crash and sustained non-incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 54-year-old man from Sarasota, did not sustain any injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
