A deadly workplace accident in Stuart is now under investigation.
It happened Tuesday morning at Atlantic Tire on Southeast Monterey Road.
Martin County Fire Rescue says crews responded around 6:30 a.m. and found a 24-year-old tire technician pinned by a vehicle inside a service bay. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Stuart police say the victim had been helping guide an elderly customer’s truck into the service bay at the time of the incident.
